Get crafty for Christmas

19/11/2013

A craft workshop is taking place on Tuesday 26 November to inspire people to make Christmas cards and decorations for their homes.

Hull College and Hull City Council's library team are running the session that runs between 10am - 2.30pm at Central Library, where activities will include making tree decorations, scented pomanders and Christmas table centrepieces to spruce up homes for the festive season.

Claire Stanley, Senior Librarian, said: "It's a great way to get people in the festive spirit and are especially good whilst people's budgets are tight and they are thinking of ways to save money around Christmas."

All activities are suitable for adults age 19 and over. The cost is £6.45 per adult, which will cover the cost of all materials.
