Lord Mayor's Carol Concert 2013

A special night filled with carols, readings and music is set to be held as part of the Christmas festivities taking place in Hull.

The Carol Concert, hosted by the Lord Mayor of Kingston upon Hull, Councillor Nadine Fudge will take place in the unique and charismatic setting of the Banqueting Hall in the Guildhall, Hull on Wednesday 4 December.

Blair Jacobs of BBC Radio Humberside will present this prestigious event and the concert will feature the Junior and Senior Choirs from Hymers College, guest soprano Alexandra Boanas, members of the Barton Town Band and performers from the Albermarle Group.

Guest readers include Amanda White from Look North, Carl Wheatley from Radio Humberside and Jane Godber along with a performance from her drama group Centre Stage.

Doors open at 7pm with the concert commencing at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £20 and include complimentary mulled wine or soft drinks upon arrival and complimentary sherry and mince pies after the concert. Tickets are limited so ring early to avoid disappointment. For tickets contact the Lord Mayors Office on 01482 615093.

All proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Lord Mayor's Charity Appeal Fund which this year is supporting the Echoes Foundation and Missing People.
