Pupils invited to have supper with Santa at Princes Quay

Following a Christmas Card Design competition, six finalists have been chosen from three local schools to attend Supper with Santa at Princes Quay on Friday 12th December.
Pupils from Springhead Primary School, Buckingham Primary School and Anlaby Acre Heads Primary School are amongst the schools that have been involved, and one lucky artist will be selected to have their design printed as the official Princes Quay 2014 Christmas Card.
X3 Corporate Image Ltd have produced the card as project sponsor and the winning card will be revealed by Santa and Frozen characters this Friday. Princes Quay will then sell the card, with proceeds being donated to Viking FM and Magic 1161’s charity Cash for Kids.
Marketing and Customer Service Manager Sarah Smith visited school assemblies, explaining the competition to pupils.
Sarah said: “This year we wanted to involve local schools in designing our Christmas card whilst helping a local charity. It was lovely to visit the schools and see how excited the children became as we explained what the competition was. The quality of the entries was very high and it made it very difficult for the panel to pick six finalists from each school. This Friday, Santa and characters from Frozen will be attending the supper to reveal the winner and the winning card. Huge thanks go to all the children that entered the competition, we had over 650 entries in total, which was fantastic.”
