Visit the cinema at Christmas

There's so much on telly during the festive season, it's easy to forget about the big screen. You put it off and put it off, and then before you know it the films you wanted to see aren't on anymore. Don't let that happen this year, because there's plenty to choose from! 

Here's a selection of brilliant movies that you can see without even having to leave the city centre thanks to Vue in Princes Quay and Reel in St Stephen's

A family adventure about the talking bear from Peru who travels to London looking for a new home. This is perfect for the whole family as it will delight kids and give adults a fuzzy nostalgic feeling from start to finish.


NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: SECRET OF THE TOMB 

Get ready for the wildest adventure yet as Larry (Ben Stiller) leaves New York City for London, uniting favourite and new characters while embarking on an epic quest to save the magic before it is gone forever.

 

FIFTY SHADES OF GREY

If you fancy something steamy to warm you up this Christmas, this is the hotly anticipated film adaptation of the bestselling book that has become a global phenomenon. Stepping into the roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, who have become iconic to millions of readers, are Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.

 

THE HOBBIT: BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES
