Nothing planned for NYE?

30/12/2014

A new year should begin the way you want it to carry on, and what could be better than celebrating with good people and great tunes in friendly surroundings?

Fruit is hosting Frootenanny on New Year's Eve, presenting the best in local bands and DJs. Counting Coins will be there with a blend of ska, punk, gypsy and hiphop that's bound to get you moving (even if it's just a secret tapping of the foot whilst you chill out in a corner). Joining them are Endoflevelbaddie with, and we quote, switch flickin', button pressin', knob twiddlin', head noddin', shape throwin' party music.

The Holy Orders combine strong melodies, massive amounts of energy and huge dynamics, and if you attended this year's Christmas lights switch-on you'll already know that Nineties Boy is putting Hull on the hiphop map. Rest assured that both will be joining the party.

As for Joe Duncan, he and his band have taken their acoustic sets to the Humber Street Sesh in recent years, and now they're ready to ring in the New Year with you and your mates.

Doors to Frootenanny open at 7pm on Wednesday 31st December and the event is strictly for people aged 18 and over. Tickets are £6 and go offline at 4pm on the day, so we recommend that you book now before they sell out.

On behalf of the teams at Christmas in Hull and HullBID, Happy New Year!
