Elves' Food and Crafts Market comes to city

03/12/2015

Stock up on festive treats and gifts at Hull BID’s Elves’ Christmas Food and Crafts Market on Princes Dock Street between 10am-4pm on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December.

Over 30 stalls of hot and cold food, handmade crafts, gifts and homewares will be bringing the city centre alive and welcoming the holiday season.

A family of elves will be meeting and greeting children, with face painting and a colouring competition keeping them entertained while adults can purchase some last-minute Christmas presents.

Plus, the East Riding of Yorkshire Brass Band will be putting us all in the Christmas spirit with some carols on Saturday. And a couple of real reindeer will be making an appearance on Sunday.

Whether you want to stuff yourself silly with one of Leonardo’s turkey and stuffing sandwiches or devour a Go Dutch pancake on the day, take the opportunity to buy a Johnston’s butchers game pie or some beautiful shellfish from Fruits of the Seas for your Boxing Day table, or fill your bags with sweet treats from Sugar n Spice or Cocoa Chocolatier, this market has it all. Yorkshire Linen Company even has you covered for all your Christmas tableware.

Not sure what to get for that relative who has everything? A selection of handmade crafts, from Helen’s Homemade Bags to Rock Art, may be just the solution you are looking for. Gifts and homewares will also be in abundance, with Roisin Dubh, Bo Vintage and the Red Cross providing plenty of gift ideas.

The Elves’ Christmas Food and Crafts Market is here to make Christmas simple.
