Hull Foodbank appeals for donations

Pastor of Jubilee Church Steve Whittington is hoping to raise £5000 for Hull foodbank to help local people in crisis this Christmas.
He said: "We are thrilled by the support we already receive in terms of food and monthly donations. However we are in desperate need for finance for our ingoing costs and are looking for a larger warehouse to store donations.
"Would you consider making a donation to Hull foodbank of £5 or more as a one-off?
"We have already helped over 3000 people in crisis this year and many of the stories we here are heartbreaking.Yet the joy of people’s situations getting resolved and stories of how feeding a family have stopped children going hungry are heartwarming."
