Christmas opening for Double Tree by Hilton

If you’ve been asked to organise your work Christmas party or are in charge of arranging a festive family gathering but haven’t got around to it yet, you’re in luck.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Hull has now confirmed it will be open for seasonal three-course dinner and entertainment on selected dates from 4 December.
The menu includes everything from brandy-infused pate to traditional turkey with duck fat roasted potatoes and rich plum pudding to indulgent strawberry and vanilla cheesecake.
Diners will be served in the new hotel’s stunning which has already received bookings for events and conferences throughout 2018 and beyond.
Helen Symonds, director of sales and marketing at DoubleTree by Hilton Hull, said she was delighted the £25m development would be opening soon.
“It’s fantastic to be able to offer customers the chance to celebrate Christmas with us with our party menu and entertainment,” she said.
“By bringing the prestigious DoubleTree by Hilton brand to Hull at this special time of year we are going to be adding a little bit of extra sparkle to the city in December.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone and have already received enquiries about bookings for Christmas next year.”
The hotel on Ferensway, city centre, will also have 165 bedrooms, a rooftop bar and a Marco Pierre White restaurant.
Construction work began on the site in October 2016 and it will be the first four-star hotel to open in the city.
Details about the bar and restaurant openings will be released at a later date but bookings for the Christmas Party Menu are open now. Prices start at £34 per person with dates available from 4 December.
