Trinity Market to be transformed into a winter wonderland
11/11/2019Hull’s thriving Trinity Market is well and truly getting into the Christmas spirit this year with a host of events and a special festive transformation.
The market’s food hall will be transformed into a winter wonderland with twinkling lights, greenery and a Christmas wishing tree.
There will be a special Christmas Kids Zone with snow and a sleigh, as well as a professional photographer on-hand creating images for keyrings or even a Christmas bauble.
Lucy Lines, Trinity Market manager, said: “I’m so excited about our plans for the festive period. The market is going to be transformed into a winter wonderland with plenty of fun things going on for all the family.
“We’ve got some fantastic independent traders selling all kinds of stocking fillers and Christmas gift ideas, as well as tasty festive treats – I can’t think of a better place to do your Christmas shopping this year.”
There will be lots of special festive children’s events every weekend between 16 November and 21 December including chocolate making, cupcake decorating and writing letters to Santa.
Comedy duo Jed and Gary will be bringing their hilarious and mischievous comedy to the market on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 December, with a special festive show which is sure to have the whole family in hysterics.
The fantastic Middle Child Theatre will be hosting a Family Christmas Quiz on Saturday 14 December, where you may also stumble upon surprises including carol singers and a few panto favourites.
Trinity Market is also working in partnership with Hull Minster to host a Victorian Market on Saturday 7 December in Trinity Square.
