Holy Trinity still open to the public during public realm works

08/12/2015

Trinity Square is a building site but Holy Trinity Church is still open to the public for daytime visits and evening services and looks forward to welcoming you this Christmas.

During the public realm work in the square, please use the entrance on South Churchside. King William House Car Park on Market Place (APCOA) is helping Holy Trinity throughout the Christmas season by providing car parking spaces for all evening events on a pay and display basis. They are donating 20% of their evening parking profits to Holy Trinity Development Trust, who hope to redevelop the shop within the church. The church has taken delivery of some beautiful new cafe furniture just in time for Christmas, which has been paid for by the Development Trust.

As Trinity Square and Whitefriargate are less accessible this year, Holy Trinity will be holding a candlelit nativity service on Saturday 19th December at 3pm with live characters and a donkey inside the church and Christingles for all the children.

Rev Canon Dr Neal Barnes said: “I am pleased to say that we will be busier than ever this year as we welcome our visitors for the Christmas Season. It is brilliant that APCOA has been able to help us out with evening parking as it is so difficult to park around here.”
